I have really enjoyed these past 9 days of Prayer. I pray that these prayers have ministered to you. It's Christmas Eve and everyone is excited about tomorrow, but we must learn how to "Wait Well". One of the expressions that come to mind " A watched pot never boils." Being anxious about tomorrow, will not make it get here any faster. I am sure that there are many of you like me, who have petitions and prayers before the Lord and those things haven't come to past yet, but it's worth waiting for. I trust God and I trust His plans for my life. Everything will happen in due time.
As the word of God states, there is a time for everything.
There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens:
a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance, a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing, a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away, a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak, a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace. Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
Today's Prayer
Father, in the name of Jesus, once again, we come to say THANK YOU. Thank You for this day, Christmas Eve 2019. Lord, we just say THANK YOU for everything. Thank You for being our God, Our Father, Our Friend, Our Everything. Lord, we thank You that You will answer our prayers in Your perfect timing. We know that You are never late and that Your timing, Your Will is what we want in our lives. Thank You for revealing what is in our hearts, and make us ready to handle the answer in the right way when it comes. Not our will Lord, but Thy will be done in our lives. Help us to pray by faith consistently and long-term, to believe, wait, and then move forward in Your timing. Help us to be patient in prayer, not give up, and trust You even during moments when we feel negative emotions. Help us, Lord, to WAIT WELL. We walk by faith and not by sight, don't let us get discouraged when things aren't happening as quickly as we want. Don't let us be controlled by our feelings. WE WALK IN FAITH. Lord, please help us not to take matters into our own hands. We choose to trust You, and we refuse to believe the lies and the tricks of the enemy. We choose to be faithful in prayer, we know your words says that we are to cast our cares upon You for You care for us. Deepen our understanding of Your Grace, Your Mercy, and Your Love. Give us a greater knowledge of what You are doing in our lives. Stretch our faith in the midst of our waiting, teach us to WAIT WELL..not complaining, not doubting, but Trusting in YOU and Your Word spoken over our lives. We thank You that You have all wisdom and will answer our prayers in the perfect way., This is our prayer In Jesus’ name, Amen.
