This is my Exodus

For the past week or so, I have been meditating on offense and the spirit of offense. Last week, the message focused on offenses. Pastor Edmondson gave wise council in reference to the subject. He stated at any given time, you will have the opportunity to be offended by someone or something in the Kingdom; what you choose to do in that moment defines your present maturity and often determines your future manifestations. That's Powerful. Charles Swindoll wrote.. "We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude...I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you...we are in charge of our attitudes.” As adults, even though we may want to response when we are offended, but our action shows our level of faith and trust in God. Often times, we become stuck over something that happened in our past, that was never resolved, but THIS IS MY EXODUS. Bishop Nelson always taught us, if someone does you wrong pay um, buy them a gift. I never really understood that concept, until a few years ago, when you bless the person that hurt or offended you, it takes away them hurt and it forces you to forgive. Remember the battle is not yours, its the Lord's. If they hurt you, forgive them. Accept the apology that you never received. Somethings the Lord has to allow things to be broken, so He can put it back together again. Lord, deliver me from me. This is my exodus.

I have to admit, I am not a Sunday's Best fan, but this performance blessed me.
