Reserved Seat

Good morning, Happy Thankful Tuesday. I hope that you were able to enjoy a wonderful and relaxing 3 day weekend. As I stated yesterday, a new charter had begun for each of us and we need to make it one of the best. Chapter 2019 4th Quarter Section 1. I am so excited about what the Lord is doing in the lives of His people. And when I say SUDDENLY...Literally, we must be so careful in this season to ensure what we are speaking is from the Lord, because God is really moving at an accelerated pace.

Quick share, yesterday, I was talking to a friend and sharing the reason behind my nickname ( from my amazing God-mother Deborah Peace).. several years ago, she started calling me Hadassah. A few hours after this conversation, my god-father called me. He had attended a service the day before and the topic of the sermon was ," Your Seat Has Been Reserved". The preacher used the story of Esther as his reference. Most know the story, King Xerxes requested his wife Vashti to dance before him and a bunch of drunk party goers and she refused, so he went on a search for a new wife. Esther (a Jew) was chosen to have a night with the King. But in the midst of Hadassah's preparation for her night with the king, the king's chief advisor, Haman, is offended by Esther's cousin and guardian, Mordecai , and gets permission from the king to have all the Jews in the kingdom killed. Esther soon comes to learn that her purpose wasn't just to become the new Queen, but she was chosen for such a time as this to save her fellow Jews.

When Hadassah, is granted her one night with the King, He asked what does she want and he extends the sceptre to her. Esther 5:2-3 "And it was so, when the king saw Esther the queen standing in the court, that she obtained favour in his sight: and the king held out to Esther the golden sceptre that was in his hand. So Esther drew near, and touched the top of the sceptre. Then said the king unto her, What wilt thou, queen Esther? and what is thy request? it shall be even given thee to the half of the kingdom. " Wow, the king says, whatever you want, it's yours. Of course, we know that she requested a great banquet and asked that the Jews be spared and allowed to destroy their enemies and the king granted her request. If you haven't read the book of Esther, please do so today.

At the beginning of the story, Queen Vashti was seating the seat, but she was just holding it for Hadassah. There are things that other people may be in procession of at this very moment, but God had it reserved for you. The word of God says, that you will live in houses you didn't build, dwell in land that you didn't plow.. Joshua 24:13. Bishop Nelson, Sr., always says, God will give you jobs you didn't qualify for and He will make ways out of no way. Yes, your chosen Seat is Reserved For You and Only You. Even if someone else is seating in the seat now, please know what God has for you it for you. It's turning around in your favor.

Remember, if day is important. Each day has purpose. Each day has meaning. Be specific in your prayers and seek God for direction and clear instruction.

YOUR SEAT IS RESERVED.
