Repair the Breach

"And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in." Isaiah 58:12.

Happy Wednesday!!! As I was praying this morning, the Lord dropped this in my spirit.. instead of being a people who constantly try to find fault in others, we should be "REPAIRING THE BREACH". The enemy has given so many the spirit of competitiveness, which has turned many to be petty and downright mean. The word of God says that... "our words should be few and seasoned with grace". Colossians 4:6, but oftentimes we use our words to tear down instead of building up. I remember the old saying, "if you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything at all. It's so sad, that as soon as the announcement was made about Senator Kamala Harris being chosen as the VP candidate for the Democratic party, while many did offer words of support and encouragement, many including those in the White House, choose to say negative things about her. Just because you can say it, is it necessary? We have been taught that LOVE is an action word. You can tell me all day long that you love, but do your actions towards me reflect what you are saying. Let's your actions speak LOVE. Let's your actions speak PEACE. Let's your actions speak JOY. The word of God states, "Words kill, words give life; they’re either poison or fruit—you choose." Proverbs 18:21 The Message Bible. Let your words be fruit and give life. Be a REPAIRER OF THE BREACH.
