Positive Focus

Happy FriYah!!! Yes, we have made it through another week of physical distancing. WE MADE IT!!! I can't say it enough in the midst of everything that is happening right now, I encourage each of you to focus on the positive. Stay connected with family and friends and please be sure to practice self-care. Take a long hot bath, soak your feet, listen to some soothing music, take a long walk. RELAX

I just wanted to share a few inspirational scriptures:

What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? Romans 8:31

Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost. Romans 15:31

It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.

They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23

Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. Deuteronomy 31:6

Cast your burden on the LORD, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved Psalm 55:22

Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. Matthew 6:34

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. John 14:27

I saw this prayer on Facebook and wanted to share it.

Special Prayer from Pastor Kimberly Ray-Gavin

Father in Jesus' name, I humbly lift in prayer every person who is feeling emotionally exhausted and mentally drained. I pray that your presence and the powerful weight of your Glory will release a fresh anointing of peace. Let your power break this overwhelming sense of their physical and emotional depletion. I apply the precious blood of Jesus to the thought patterns that leads to chronic continued stress and heaviness of heart. Touch those who feel emotionally extended. Empower your people who feel helpless, unable to go to people who are in pain. Let them use their authority and send the word of God in prayer. Lord, I ask that you allow them to put on the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. Lift them at this very moment as they cast every care, every loved one & every situation upon You God for You care. In Jesus' name Amen. .
