Perspective

Happy Thursday.... I woke up this morning to my phone buzzing with birthday wishes. Just grateful to the Lord for another year and for the love that has been and is being shown to me. Bishop Nelson, Sr. always taught us people don't have to be kind to you, so I thank the Lord for the kindness that is being given to me.

I have been on a cloud ever since Sunday. Bishop Nelson, Sr. spoke life into a place in me that was unsure. As I stated, I don't want to go into 2020 ( I don't want to spend another moment) having scrambled egg faith. I believe in God. I trust His Word. I am Expecting the Unexpected not just in 2020, but for the next 41 days of 2019. I am expecting God to do GREAT THINGS. In My Life, In my home, All around, I'm expecting GREAT THINGS. On Sunday, Bishop Nelson, Sr. reminded us "There Shall Be A Performance". Not just me, but many have us have promises from the Lord and as we know  “God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? Numbers 23:19 NKJV If God said it, then it's got to happen.

Recently, a relationship ended, and I have to admit for a moment I was hurt and sad, but it was just for a moment. Bishop Nelson, Sr, often said that we should not cry over people who leave us. He would remind us that " those who are for you can't leave and those who are against you can't stay." In this season, we must trust the process. God is taking each of us to the next level, some things have to be left behind. You can't take negativity into this season. My Pastor, Bishop Johnson has been teaching on Peace. "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." John 14:27 King James Version (KJV) God's Peace surrounds us, don't be distracted by the cares of this world. Look to God who is our source and our strength.
