New Year's Eve 2019

Happy New Year's Eve2019 Wow, we are less than 15 hours away from a new decade. I know for many this year has been a bit bumpy( Yes, I agree with Queen Elizabeth), but we made it. I heard one of the radio personalities talking on Sunday about the crime rate in the city of Baltimore and that in this year, he had attended more funerals for people that he actually knew that had been murdered. Yes, crime is running rapid in a lot of our cities, but God is still in control. When we look back over the last 364 days in our lives, lots of laughter and lots of tears, but through it all, we made it. No matter what happened, God has never left us and He never will. I am looking forward to this new decade. I am reminding the Lord daily of the words that have been spoken over my life...."Whenever the Almighty God has made you a promise, HIS INTEGRITY is on the line. Therefore, WHATEVER MIRACLE He has to perform to bring the promise to pass, HE WILL DO IT." "For with God, nothing will be impossible. Luke 1:37

Today's Prayer

Father, In the name of Jesus, we say Thank You. Thank You for keeping us through another year. Thank You for every blessing that You bestowed upon our lives and the lives of our families. As we approach, a new year, ( a new decade), we are thankful for all we hold dear: our health, our families, and our friends. Let us release our grudges, our anger, and our pains, for these, are nothing but binding chains. Let us leave every negative thought behind and approach this year with PEACE. Let us live each day with a renewed God-consciousness. Let us be more giving in service to those in need. Thank You that You make all things new. Thank You for all that You've allowed into our lives this past year, the good along with the hard things, which have reminded us how much we need You and rely on Your presence filling us every single day. We ask for Your wisdom, for Your strength and power to be constantly present within us. We pray You would make us strong and courageous for the road ahead. Give us ability beyond what we feel able, let Your gifts flow freely through us, so that You would be honored by our lives, and others would be drawn to You. We pray for Your protection over our families and friends. We ask for Your hand to cover us and keep us distanced from the evil intent of the enemy; that You would be a barrier to surround us, that we’d be safe in Your hands. We pray that You would give us discernment and insight beyond our years, to understand Your will, hear Your voice, and know Your ways. We ask that You would keep our footsteps firm, on solid ground, helping us to be consistent and faithful. Give us supernatural endurance to stay the course, not swerving to the right or to the left, or being too easily distracted by other things that would seek to call us away from a closer walk with You. Lord, continue to shine Your light in us, through us, over us. Allow Your Sonshine to be seen in us, so that we make a difference in this world, for Your glory and purposes. Your Will Be Done In Our Lives. May our year be filled with peace, prosperity, and love. May God's blessings shower upon us and bestow upon each of us a bright, healthy and peaceful new year. May we reflect Your peace and hope to a world that so desperately needs your presence and healing. To You be all the glory and honor, in this New Year, and forever., In Jesus’ name, we pray Amen.
