Let My Words Be Acceptable

"Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer. Psalm 19:14 KJV"

Your words carry enormous power. Your words can bring life or death. Choose your words wisely. SPEAK LIFE, even when you are facing death. Yes, this may be easier said than done, but that's where FAITH kicks in. You may be wondering how you are going to make it today, but remember you survived 100% of your bad days. That day when you thought you weren't going to make it, but you did. I remember when my Mother passed away, I had never felt that kind of hurt, that kind of pain. I couldn't eat, I couldn't sleep, I felt like I was walking around in a fog, but by the grace of God, I am alive today. Yes, after many tears and many sleepless nights, I am still here and I think my Mom would be proud of the woman that I have become. We must allow God's promise never to leave us or forsake us to resonate in our spirits. We must recall His Word that declares "The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace." Exodus 14:14 or "The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him." Nahum 1:7 or "He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak." Isaiah 40:29 or "But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." Isaiah 40:31 or "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze." Isaiah 43:2 All of the scriptures remind us that our God will always be with us.

No matter what you are facing always SPEAK LIFE. Even if you are facing death. When Jesus was hanging on the cross, he didn't wallow, but He asked God for forgiveness for the two criminals that were on the left and the right of Him. In every circumstance SPEAK LIFE. The word of God declares the Power of Your Words in Proverbs 18:21, " Death and life are in the power of the tongue:...."

Everyone has heard the saying “sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me” , but this is dead wrong. Words do hurt. Bad speech is not only hurtful to those who are receiving this unkind speech but it's hurtful to the person who is speaking. The Bible declares in Proverbs 11:17 “Your own soul is nourished when you are kind, but you destroy yourself when you are cruel.” SPEAK LIFE.

Words have power, and proper use of power requires wisdom. Gentle words often turn even the hardest of souls Positive words have a healing effect. Words have incredible healing power in people’s lives. Words of love, comfort, and encouragement have a positive impact on people’s lives. This is evidenced by health in the body. Positive speech is a weapon against disease and bad luck. Take control of your tongue, to ensure it speaks no evil. , especially when you are angry or have been hurt by someone or something. Another saying that each of us is familiar with, "if you don't have anything good to say, don't say anything at all. In conclusion, LET YOUR WORDS BE ACCEPTABLE, it not only blesses others, but it will make you feel better.
