I Said Yes!!!!

Happy Monday!!! I pray that each of you enjoyed a wonderful weekend and are ready to receive the blessings that the Lord has assigned to you. Yes, I've said it before and I'll say it again, Blessings are Territorial. If it's assigned to you, then it's yours and no one else can have it.

Daily in my prayer to the Lord, I say, "Yes, to Your Will and Yes, to Your Way." We must remember that when we say, "Yes to God", we are also saying God I trust You. The scripture says, In that way you will be acting as true sons of your Father in heaven. For he gives his sunlight to both the evil and the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust too." Matthew 5:45 TLB. This hit home to me today. To bring it in layman's terms, bad things happen to good people. Good people get sick, good people get divorced, good people lose their jobs, good people have to deal with financial issues BUT GOD. The main difference is we are children of God know that God is in complete control of every situation and circumstance. God is in control of every aspect of our lives. He promised never to leave us nor forsake us. He promised to be with us when we are on the mountaintop or in the valley. Psalm 23:4, "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me." He promised to be with us. So, when say Yes to the Lord, we are actually putting a bullseye on our back, because the enemy will surely send trouble to see if we have Job faith.

Just read in the daily devotional from Our Daily Bread, titled "Making Peace with Trouble"., https://odb.org/2020/09/21/making-peace-with-trouble This really blessed me. When we say Yes, we are submitting ourselves to the Lord and again as the scripture says, "Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me." Each of us has a cross that goes along with the Yes. When the cross comes, we have to surrender our troubles, our situations, and circumstances to God. We must remember that weeping may endureth for a night, but joy is coming in the morning. Make peace with your troubles, give them to God, and Rest in His promises.
