I Have Hope

Happy Tuesday!!!

God is absolutely amazing. Even in the midst of this storm, the Lord is still speaking.

Feeling weary? Burdened? Discouraged? Alone? Each of us is facing challenges as we navigate through this current world crisis. But no matter what we face, we can be assured that God is always with us. He knows our way. He cares. And we are never alone.

The word of God speaks clearly, that we are to give our cares and burdens to Him. “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30 The word of the Lord also reads “Cast all your anxiety on Him because he cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:7

Last week, my pastor Bishop Duane Johnson, shared a clip of a message preached over 9 years ago, by Pastor Jackie McCullough, and this morning, the words she preached dropped in my spirit, "I Have A Reason To Hope". I have hope... in the midst of the storm. I have hope. I have hope. Because God is still in control, I have hope. Knowing that God will work everything out for my good, I have hope. I have hope.

I pray that this snippet for this powerful message blesses you and encourages you to have hope.

Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God. Psalm 42:11
