His Grace

Happy Tuesday!!! I pray that you and your family are safe. Still in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic and now Hurricane Isaias. Oh Yes, it's praying time. I pray that God's hands of Grace and Mercy rest upon you and your family. This morning, the Lord placed a song in my spirit. I actually had a dream and in the dream, I was asked to sing the song. It's not a gospel song and it's several years old, but after listening to the song, I believe I heard the message. The song is "Better Days" by Dianne Reeves. The lyrics say, "You can't get to the Better Days unless you make it through the night, but you gotta be patient." From this, I took the message to be that we will experience some turbulence in this thing called life, but if we "Keep Going", if we "Keep Moving Forward", we will make it to "Better Days". The scripture says, "For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning." Psalm 30:5 KJV This is figurative and a literal statement of fact. The night may be dark and dreary and we may shed some tears, but the morning will bring light and in that light, we see the Lord. So, adjust your focus, don't dwell in the darkness, but focus on the light, Better is on the way.

Also, this morning, I listened to this message taught by Bishop Jackie McCullough. In this message, she talks about the grace of God. Where would we be without the grace of God? The Grace that restores, the Grace that redeems, the Grace that releases us to worship. Yes, Grace releases us to worship.. we fail God every day, but He never fails us and because of His Grace, because of His unfailing Love, we are released to worship Him. Also, in the message, she remains us that His Grace is sufficient, "And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly, therefore, will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me." 2 Corinthians 12:9. When we give it all over to Him, we find Grace and Strength. We can't do this without the Lord. Stop looking to family and friends, but give it to Jesus for His Grace is sufficient.
