"But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear ye not, therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows." Matthew 10:30-31
I am sure that most of us have heard the Tasha Cobbs Leonard song, "He Knows My Name" ( see video below), but today, this song hit a special cord. Oftentimes we can feel that there is no one who really understands us (this applies to married people, as well as single people), as stated in an earlier post, God Is With Us. Not only is He with us, but He knows each of us intimately and completely. God knows every detail about you and me. He knows our likes/dislikes, personal characteristics even our innermost thoughts and most intimate dreams. He knows our families, the good and the bad, He knows our dreams and fears and even knows the secret prayers that we have only prayed in our minds. He’s an expert on you. He's an expert on me. There are over 7.6 billion people on earth, but He knows you personally and completely. As the scripture states, God even knows how many hairs are on your head and He KNOWS YOUR NAME.
God is concerned about every detail of your life, that is why we encourage you to acknowledge Him in all your ways. "In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths." Proverbs 3:6. How do you acknowledge Him in all your ways? Pray Yes, prayer is your communication with God. And Yes, the Lord will acknowledge your prayers and He will answer you. Our Heavenly Father wants you to know that as long as something concerns you, He does not overlook it, even if it's something simple, no problem is too big or too small for our God. God knows us intimately. He knows every small problem we are worried about and every single burden we have. And when we approach Him for help, He has all the time for us as if no one else exists. That is how valuable we are to Him and how absorbed He is in us!!! He Knows Your Name and because He is such a good, good Father, He will never leave us alone. He walks with us and He tells us that we belong to Him.
