Don't Be Weary

Happy Wednesday. I pray that you enjoyed a good night of rest and looking forward to a great day. Not sure what is the weather forecast where you are, but today is supposed to be a great day in Maryland weather-wise, so if you can take a wellness walk today and enjoy the sunshine and fresh air.

I pray that you enjoyed the videos yesterday. With all the seriousness of the current world status, I just wanted to share a laugh and hopefully, I succeeded.

This morning, I woke up and I was lead to pray for those who are feeling weary due to the mandated quarantine and isolation. Immediately, this scripture dropped in my spirit, in The Message Bible Galatians 6:9-10 reads, "So let’s not allow ourselves to get fatigued doing good. At the right time, we will harvest a good crop if we don’t give up, or quit. Right now, therefore, every time we get the chance, let us work for the benefit of all, starting with the people closest to us in the community of faith." Don't be weary, God is mindful of you. I encourage you to take this time to work on that dream, build that shelf in your home, write the book, be creative in your home. Take the time to breathe and relax. RESET. Take a good look at yourself and make the necessary changes to your surroundings that will bring you to a place of peace and a place of joy. I've seen so many posts on Facebook of people taking this time of quarantine to redecorate a room and small home improvements. Also, take this time to be a blessing to others. Checking in on friends and family in so very important. It's especially important to stay connected with our seniors and those who may not be able to get out. Also, those who may be living alone. Some are finding this time of social distancing especially difficult. Those simple acts of kindness are such blessing, not only to the people you are contacting, but the contact helps to boost your spirit as well. Your labor of love is not in vain. Be not weary.
