Happy Friday !!!! To God Be The Glory, we made through another week. Yesterday, someone shared a snippet of a message that I first heard a few years ago, but the message was soooooooo good, I just had to listen to it again. On Tuesday, August 4, I celebrated my 28th Spiritual Birthday. I can remember the day so well. I can honestly say, it was one of the happiest days of my life. I literally tried to hug every member of our church. In 1991, we have over 700 members at GBT and I tried to hug everybody The spirit of the Lord was so heavy upon me and I just wanted to share the love that I was feeling with everyone. It was such a beautiful day. I remember, someone saying to me, "You are glowing." Yes, the Lord had changed my countenance. Oh, what a glorious day. Now, I must say, this road has not always been easy during these last 28 years, BUT GOD. Even when I messed up, even when I sinned, God's love never failed me. BUT GOD. Even when sickness attacked my body, BUT GOD. Even when loved ones passed away, God's peace was ever-present. BUT GOD. Even when I lost my job, God's promises to supply all of my needs ensured that I would be alright. BUT GOD. Even when family and friends betrayed me and walked away, BUT GOD, promised never to leave me nor forsake me. BUT GOD, the Lily of Valley, the Bright Morning Star, Our Good Good Father. BUT GOD. Yes, while I know some of the things that I went through I brought on myself, BUT GOD, who has ordered my steps, will use even those things that were meant to destroy me as stepping stones to my expected end. Yes, I have experienced many BUT GOD moments in my life and I just want to say THANK YOU GOD for loving me and taking such good care of me. The Clark Sisters had a song out a few years ago, " Blessed and Highly Favored" some of the lyrics are: " It coulda' been me, It shoulda' been me, It woulda' been me if it wasn't for the blood"...
