Happy Let's Talk About it Tuesday!!! This past Sunday, I was blessed to hear 2 messages with the same theme "Wake Up". Both messages focused on the fact that it is time for the people of God to "wake up". In the midst of the chaos, God is speaking to His people and He is requiring us to "wake up". No more normal, we all must take a look at the man or woman in the mirror and make a change. It's time to "Wake Up". God pushed the ultimate RESET button, giving each of us the opportunity to re-focus, clean the dirt from our eyes, and get ourselves and our lives back on track. I said it a couple of weeks again, 2020 is the year of Perfect Vision. Some of us were on a collision course heading in the wrong direction. There were some doors that the Lord had to close, some relationships that needed to end, because they were distracting us from what God has ordained for our lives. God's GPS was totally different from the course we were taking, so because God loves us soooo much, He allowed the whole world to pause, so that we would have no other choice to course correct. Wow, that's love. "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." 2 Chronicles 7:14 In this scripture, the Lord is giving us clear instructions, we must first humble ourselves( admit that we are off-course), pray and seek His Face ( talk to God and ask for forgiveness), most importantly, turn from our wicked ways (repent and change..there can be no true repentance without change), then will the Lord hear from heaven, forgive our sins and HEAL the land. Our land needs healings, but the change begins with us. The lyrics from the song made popular by the late Michael Jackson, Man in the Mirror "I'm starting with the man in the mirror, I'm asking him to change his ways, And no message could have been any clearer, If you want to make the world a better place, Take a look at yourself, and then make a change" The change begins with us. I have shared both of the messages that blessed me on Sunday and I pray they minister to you, just as they ministered to me.
